In the City Hotel, Podorica organized by NGOs from Montenegro, citizens' associations, Ozon "Niksic, FORS Montenegro, the Agency of Local Democracy and Green steps and the Dutch NGO Milieukontakt International, was held the National conference, ’’Green Agenda, a local strategy for sustainable development, methodology and results," which presents the activities implemented in the previous two years, how the project was implemented in three municipalities Niksic, Mojkovac and Ulcinj. |

23.12.2009. Podgorica. Veselin Sturanovic, on behalf of FORS Montenegro signed memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection.Working group was established at the meeting, whose task will be the coordination of activities and monitoring of implementation of the Memorandum of cooperation. Member of the Working Group will be the director of FORS Montenegro Mr. Veselin Sturanovic. |

SNV organised a two-day training workshop “Human Resources in NGO Sector” at Hotel “Residence”, Milocer on December 10-11, 2009. The event was held as part of the program "Local Capacity Building for NGOs", which is implemented by SNV in Montenegro. The main goal of the workshop was - to foster the stable development of human resources departments in selected NGOs, supported by SNV program. |

Veselin Sturanovic, executive director of the FORS Montenegro has represented the organization during a study visit to Brussels organized by the Directorate for Enlargement through Technical Assistance and Information Exchange programme (TAIEX). FORS Montenegro was one of 7 organizations of civil society in Montenegro, which was invited to participate in this study visit, together with 40 NGOs from the Western Balkans and Turkey. |

Mayor of Pljevlja Municipality Dr. Filip Vukovic and Deputy of Ambassador in Montenegro Bennett Lowenthal marked on Thursday 19th November, in Pljevlja, start of the project "Free internet access of the citizens of Pljevlja" and web site Tourism café www.tourismcafe.me The project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Municipality of Pljevlja through the Foundation for Development of Northern Montenegro FORS Montenegro, and implemented by the Internet provider MNNews from Podgorica. |
