Mayor of Pljevlja Municipality Dr. Filip Vukovic and Deputy of Ambassador in Montenegro Bennett Lowenthal marked on Thursday 19th November, in Pljevlja, start of the project "Free internet access of the citizens of Pljevlja" and web site Tourism café www.tourismcafe.me The project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Municipality of Pljevlja through the Foundation for Development of Northern Montenegro FORS Montenegro, and implemented by the Internet provider MNNews from Podgorica. In order to ensure free Internet access five Wi-Fi access points (hot spots) are installed in Pljevlja. Through these technologies all the local computer networks in municipal departments are connected with network in main municipality building. Newly-established service allows citizens, companies, associations, University Center, and many others that are located in the zone of base stations, free using of internet services 24 hours per day. Www.tourismcafe.me , newly established web site is primarily intended for tourist workers and all interested citizens. The goal of the web site and forum on is tourism development and promotion of Montenegro as a tourist destination. |
