Veselin Sturanovic, executive director of the FORS Montenegro has represented the organization during a study visit to Brussels organized by the Directorate for Enlargement through Technical Assistance and Information Exchange programme (TAIEX). FORS Montenegro was one of 7 organizations of civil society in Montenegro, which was invited to participate in this study visit, together with 40 NGOs from the Western Balkans and Turkey.

During the visit, which lasted from 23rd to 26th November 2009 there was discussions on the EU accession process, EU support civil society organizations, the program P2P (People to People) and the management of EU programs.

During the study visit there was a meeting with representatives of the European Commission, Directorate for Enlargement Mr. Vassilis Maragosom, Deputy Head of Unit DG Enlargement for Montenegro, where they exchanged opinions on the dynamics of the process of accession of Montenegro to the European Union.
