At the beginning of May 2010 the project ‘’5 month Green Agenda’’ started. It is continuation of Green Agenda Programme and activities implemented during last two years. This project is financially supported by the Programme on Environment Western Balkans of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. |

In order to assess the need to develop tools for sustainable management of mountain massif Ljubisnja, FORS Montenegro is in July at the premises of the Service for the construction and development of the municipality of Pljevlja arranged a meeting between relevant stakeholders of the agricultural and tourism sectors, representatives of the Municipality Pljevlja and OIKOS organization. Meeting was attended by representatives of local agricultural services and the Ministry of Agriculture – Extension service, representatives of the Agency for Environmental Protection, Department for Construction and Development and representatives of Local Tourist Organizations and NGOs. |

From 22nd May to 12th June, representative of FORS Montenegro, Veselin Sturanovic, visited the United States of America, as a guest of the State Department within International Visitor Leadership Program. The topic of the program was “Development of Small Businesses/Enterprises in the United States of America” . Twenty representatives of different countries from all over the world had the opportunity to learn about functioning of small businesses in the USA.

Within the project „Najmladji najbrze uce“, which implements FORS Montenegro in Municipality Berane, the action of cleaning school yards of Primary school „Radomir Mitrovic“ , its department in Budimlja and yard of kindergarten „Radmila Nedic“ is carried out. The aim of the project is improvement of the environmental situation in Municipality Berane. The project is funded by Caritas Luxembourg Foundation. FORS Montenegro partners in this project are: Primary school „Radomir Mitrovic“, kindergarten „Radmila Nedic“, Public Communal Company Berane and Secretariat for Urban Planning and construction, environmental protection and utilities and Housing Services in Berane. |

Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration Ivan Brajovic opened the Regional Conference "Good governance, transparency and ethics at the local level", which was held on 3 and 4 June held at the Hotel ''Splendid'' organized jointly by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Council of Europe and Union of Municipalities of Montenegro. |
