23.12.2009. Podgorica. Veselin Sturanovic, on behalf of FORS Montenegro signed memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection.Working group was established at the meeting, whose task will be the coordination of activities and monitoring of implementation of the Memorandum of cooperation. Member of the Working Group will be the director of FORS Montenegro Mr. Veselin Sturanovic.

The Working Group will have 8 members of which three members are appointed by the Ministry, one by Agency for Environmental Protection and four are representatives of NGOs that have signed the memorandum, and which determine their own NGO representatives. Representatives of NGOs are rotated every 6 months.
Beside others, the working group and the Ministry have defined its priorities, which include:

• Development of the Action Plan for the Group for 2010,
• Preparation of joint participation with the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection at the Ecology Fair which will be organized in April 2010,
• Preparation of a donors' conference aimed at strengthening capacity in the NGO sector

Memorandum of Cooperation is a good example of cooperation between the Government of Montenegro with the NGOs.
